Extract, Manage, and Print JES Datasets on network Printers
PRO WorkFLow JES is an integrated set of spool management products for z/OS and OS/390 that automates the retrieval of print output spool datasets from the JES2 or JES3 spooling sub-system for Transmission, Copy, & Data Transformation. With TCP/IP and FTP protocols, users can manipulate data and applications directly from the JES queue and route output files to specific destinations, applications, and post-processing systems. PRO WorkFLow JES supports automatic retrieval of print files and datasets via modern network protocols such as FTP, Direct Socket, and LPR/LPD protocol. Migrating to TCP/IP and/or FTP networking protocols expands flexibility and provides end-to-end connectivity and reliability in data transmission over internal networks for all JES print files. Additionally, PRO WorkFLow JES enables organizations to distribute LCDS, Metacode AFP, AFPDS, Line Mode, and Mixed Mode data, which can be converted to PDF, PostScript, or PCL for printing on networked print devices.
