A First-to-market, Fully Automated and Audited SaaS Solution for Document Reengineering
May 4, 2021, Toronto, ON – Crawford Technologies, provider of innovative document solutions that streamline, improve and manage customer communications, announces the launch of PRO DocNow, cloud-based document reengineering services slated to be generally available this month. PRO DocNow expands Crawford Technologies’ scope of operations from providing award-winning software solutions to also offering those solutions as cloud-based services that give both print service providers and enterprises fully automated document transformation and reengineering capabilities that support rapid turnaround and secure transmission with complete audit control.
The cloud computing model grows and shrinks compute capacity based on need, uniquely accommodating the nature of customer communications, where production volumes vary dramatically during the month. Because PRO DocNow accepts disparate document and file types, the worry of document compatibility with existing production equipment can be eliminated. Users can now streamline application onboarding procedures, meet short production deadlines and satisfy secure processing requirements without the direct cost of adding or reconfiguring computer hardware and software. The new service offers usage-based pricing and runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The PRO DocNow service can be used to perform a myriad of operations on print streams and PDF files, such as format conversions, barcodes additions, postal sorts, eDelivery formatting, indexing and many more functions critical to print and mail operations. The PRO DocNow service includes a Directory Monitor client that includes error-checking, recovery and audit functions for secure and reliable processes.
PRO DocNow will be introduced at Crawford Technologies’ 2nd Annual Customer Communications Virtual Summit on May 5, 2021.
